Call Me

Cornelia and me

I’ve been having a ton of fun interviewing guests during my hosting gig at KKPZ 1330 AM’s Rose City Forum show. When else do I get have one on one time with high-profile folks and the chance to ask them anything I want? (Answer: nowhere)

While I’ve been given the opportunities for conversation Monday-Wednesday, today and Friday are a bit different.

Here’s where you come in:

I need you to help me with show content.

Tonight I’ll be speaking about Christmas traditions. What are the things you do each Christmas that just wouldn’t seem like Christmas if you didn’t do them?

Tomorrow I’m discussing good news. Did something really awesome happen recently? Let me know and I’ll share it on the air.

I’ll be live from 6:00-7:00 pm Pacific Time. If you live in the Portland area, you can tune into 1330 am. Or, if you are like me and like to listen on devices, log onto www.kkpz.com and click on the live stream. TuneIn is also an ap for your phone so you can listen to your favorite stations wherever you are.

Will you contact me? There are options:

  • Call the studio at 503-242-1330 during the hour.

Or anytime…

  • Come to Facebook and enter your answer in the thread on my page or Rose City Forum’s.
  • I can be reached on Twitter, too, @andeezomerman or answer with #KKPZ and I’ll find you.
  • Of course, you can always comment below on this post. I’d love to share what you have to say.

The more of you who participate, the easier my job will be! Really, no one likes hearing me talk to myself. Just ask my family. They’ll tell you.

Looking forward to hearing all about your holiday traditions and sharing in your good news!

We've developed a tradition of spending Christmas day alone, just the two of us. We don't have kids and our parents have passed; our siblings live 3,000 miles away, and while we do Eve with our chosen family, we do love the spirit of the season a deux.

I posted our Christmas traditions on your Facebook page. And I am going to try to call in tonight. Happy Holidays!

With the rest of our extended family away this year, we are spending Christmas as a foursome. I'm looking forward to it. I'll miss everyone, but the thought of staying in my pajamas all day is pretty appealing. 🙂

Cool! I will definitely try to listen in at least. My son will get a kick out of hearing Mommy's name and our traditions on the radio. Falalalala!
