Today it’s over. NaBloPoMo finishes on this 30th day of November. And all the people in my life rejoice!
When I started this blog 2 years ago, the only purpose was to let you know ideas to volunteer in your local community through a little resolution I made. Once 2012 ended, the blog has been all over the place. To be honest, I’ve thought about leaving blogging behind. I do love sharing about volunteering, but unlike last year, it’s not a different experience every week. I’ve settled into a bigger role with the non-profits where I’ve clicked.
Writing a blog post every day this month was another little experiment for me. I wanted to see if I could keep up (I did) and if I had anything interesting to share (I’m not so sure about this one.)
On the positive hand, I told you a story about an amazing tween, a story I think everyone should hear. On the negative hand…well…things got negative. Unfortunately for me, the internet can bring out a lot of negativity in my soul.
In the past month, I placed blog-writing towards the top of my priority list. Next month, it will take a back seat. I may not stop altogether, but I will give precedence to Advent preparation with my family.
Thanks for joining me on this 30 day journey. I’d love to continue conversation with you on the blog or away from the blog. You can always find me on Facebook and Twitter.
Blessings to you and your community as we celebrate the season of hope and love.
